Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR) Inspection

The Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR) are a set of standards that regulate the materials, design, construction, inspection, and testing of boilers and boiler components in India.  The IBR was enacted in 1950 with several amendments thereafter.

TUV India Pvt. Ltd. (TÜV NORD GROUP) is authorized as an “Inspecting Authority” for Inspection & Certification of Boilers and Boiler Components during Manufacture, Erection and in Service by Central Boilers Board, New Delhi, India as per Indian Boiler Regulations – 1950.
